I will tell you how deep it was; about three inches above my boots. These top quality SIDI boots have a water proof Gore-Tex type membrane. Because of that they would make good buckets too. I had to stop and pour the water out of them. It was fun.

I have survived the ascent to Schofield pass. It has taken me three hours and forty minutes to traverse this ten mile section of jeep trail. This will be the toughest thing I encounter on the entire trip. This pass was not on the SOR route. Maybe it should be.
