This was still on the SOR. Steady rains had reduced most tracks to mud and muc.
I was, for the first time, happy with the Dunlop D606 tires. The mud is the only place they excelled. They did poorly on the loose gravel and, while they handle good on asphalt, the noise level was intolerable at 70mph. I drove slow just to limit the ear splitting whine. I normally wear ear plugs on road trips. You definitely need them with these tires.
